Why do this?

Firstly, these are some of the pics I’ve taken whilst camping. Since having the campervan I’ve struggled to find all the sites we’ve been to in one place.

Some have been word of mouth, some google, some social media, others from campsite listing sites. So that’s how campsitesandlodges.com came about. Hopefully I can get them added in one place, let’s see!

My own campsite and lodges experiences

As a family we have spent a bit of time in lodges. Now we’re campervanners so hoping by setting this up I’ll find even more sites that I either find during my research or what people recommend.

I’ve been a campervanner for 5 years now and love getting out in the van with the family!

We may have our go to favourites, but we’re always keen to try new sites. Ideally those with activities to keep the kids entertained!

What this site offers

Yes, the website was my idea, however I’ve got friends who are either campervanners, caravaners or tenters! Instead of writing a full blown review they have sent me details of campsites and holiday lodges to add to the website that they have been to and recommend.

Also, I think there is something good about getting recommendations. in this way Not everyone wants to or has the time to leave a written review. If you want to, that’s great!
