Earlier this year, we stayed at Love2Stay Shrewsbury and it’s such a lovely campsite. While the hot tubs weren’t directly on the pitch, there were three communal ones available to guests staying on-site. Using these was still a great experience!
They also had a natural swimming pool, which I used a few times. Super refreshing and a really nice touch.
So, why am I writing this post? Well, one of the reasons I launched this site was because I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for when planning our trips. I’d browse the usual camping listing sites, but I kept noticing gap. This was true especially when it came to campsites with hot tubs. It was something my wife was really keen on trying and I figured we couldn’t be the only ones.
I ended up asking friends who also have campervans. They gave us some great suggestions. Even then, it was clear that hot tub pitches are in high demand. You really have to book well in advance. That’s a bit tricky for us since we’re tied to school term dates and holidays. So far, Love2Stay is the only one we’ve managed to book.
It would be amazing to find more sites where you have your own private hot tub right on the pitch. So we’re definitely keeping an eye out and that’s where you come in.
