We’ve been to Plassey Holiday Park nine times over the last four years. Honestly, it’s one of the reasons I wanted to create a site like this. Not just to share our own experiences, but to help others easily find great sites like this all in one place.
Back when we first started looking, I spent ages Googling campsites not too far from home that had swimming pools (a must with our two girls!). Maybe it was the way I searched, but I really struggled to find many options that ticked all the boxes.
Then, by chance, I was chatting to another dad at the school gates who mentioned Plassey. A second recommendation from another parent sealed the deal. In 2022, we gave it a try. We’ve been back eight more times since!
Plassey caters for just about everyone. Caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents are all welcome. If you’re after a bit more comfort, they’ve got lodges and glamping pods with hot tubs too.
The indoor pool is a big win for families. It’s a good size, warm (thankfully!) and well looked after. If you’re travelling without kids, you’ll be glad to know they offer adult-only swim sessions as well.
When we first went they had their own pub onsite, however, not long after that closed. The clubhouse on their 9 hole golf course is our go to for evening meals. Great for adults and kids alike.
